Tarak Ram

My personal space for writing, projects, and ideas.

Most of my thinking used to die inside a notes app, half-finished. Writing where people can see it forces me to finish the thought.

I've always written things down.

Ideas, random thoughts, things I'm learning, things I don't understand, and occasionally things that probably should have stayed in my head.

Most of them died in some notes app. I'd start with energy, stop halfway, and tell myself I'd come back to it later. I almost never did.

So I built this.

It's my corner of the internet — writing, projects, experiments, and whatever else I feel like putting here. No algorithm to satisfy, no format to follow, nothing to optimise.

Writing in public has one nice side effect though. When someone might actually read it, you can't abandon a thought halfway through. You have to sit with it until it makes sense.

That alone has made this worth keeping.

What it does

  • Writing about what I'm building, reading, and still figuring out.
  • A log of every project, live or archived, with the reasoning behind it.
  • Written, designed, and maintained entirely by me, in the open.

Lesson

Publishing is a forcing function. An idea I'd quietly drop in private becomes one I have to actually finish.
