I've done this myself. You spend a week making one good PDF, then attach that same file to twenty completely different roles and hope something sticks.
The frustrating part is that the job description literally tells you what to highlight. It's right there. Most of us just don't have the patience to rewrite everything for the fifth application of the day.
So I built Edit My Resume.
You give it your resume and the job description. It rebuilds the resume around that specific role — pulls the relevant work up, pushes the noise down, keeps the formatting clean enough to get through the systems that read it first.
One thing I was careful about. It doesn't invent experience. It rearranges what's already true about you.
It's a small idea. But it's one I kept wishing existed.
